The Stanley tool could be improved for heavier duty work by giving it a bit more leverage. That would require a shorter effective stroke and therefore more frequent pulls but that would be fine though a bit bothersome for lighter jobs. Really, there should be two models, with the heavier one being two-handed. The cast body appears sturdy, but I am suspicious of castings as the metal will likely be brittle. This is probably how other reviewers have managed to snap the handles by using stainless 3/16 rivets in violation of the tool's specifications.
The tool fit well in the hands unlike my cheap one which used to trap my fingers. BUT - wear gloves anyway for safely.
I am satisfied with this tool at the price and will perhaps someday buy a compressed air tool for the heaviest jobs.
The extraction spring is weak and does not prevent the handles from flopping around when not in use.
Another negative is that there is no place on the tool to store the wrench that you use to remove/replace the different heads.
For the price, it is disappointing that Stanley missed some of the basics with this tool.

The old one still works. This one broke the first time I tried to use it.
