This is probably the first toy that (no pun intended) pops into your mind when you hear the name Fisher-Price. Maybe this will jar your memory: the Push Toy Corn Popper has a long, blue handle (well, "long" if you're 3 years old), and rolls along on two brightly colored red/orange wheels while making great popping sounds as it bounces brightly colored balls inside a clear plastic bubble that's mounted above the wheels. So much for the technical specifications. There must be some unwritten law that every toddler has to have one of these. And with good reason. They're still fun! --Chris Livesay

Looks used!!! Heavily scuffed and cut
Had scuff marks as well as cut in three different places on plactic top. Almost looked used.Such low quality that I am embarrassed to give for gift.Packaging was minimal in box too.Requested replacement since not a manufacturer's defect, but 3rd party seller.

We bought the Corn Popper Push Toy for our 16-mth old for Christmas who loves to always be moving around and is very active (walking since 9-mths old). At almost 19-mths it is still one of his favorites. Because he loves to push items (e.g., wrapping paper rolls, brooms, mops, etc) around the house trying to imitate us cleaning or vacuuming, this toy is perfect because he can pretend clean with it, while it being safe and the right size for a toddler.

There is not much to this simple toy, which is why it is a classic and so many children from so many generous have loved it. It is the same toy I had as a small child in the 1970s, except it is now made of plastic instead of wood. Due to the plastic, it is lightweight (lighter than I expected), but perfect for a little one.

The toy is simple (no music, no lights) and allows imagination. The colorful balls pop up when he pushes it and he loves the sound and colors. Others have complained that the popping sound is annoying. It's a toy that makes some noise ... it is not bad and it's less noisy than many other toys that require batteries. If you're looking for a simple toy and your child is a toddler ... this will probably be a hit.

Don't do it. You will be asking yourself why in the world you purchased this toy. It is loud and kids love it. Don't give in to the nostalgia you felt as you first gazed upon this toy, fondly remembering that you had one as a kid. It is well constructed and won't easily be broken like you hope it eventually will as most children toys do. Nope folks this puppy was made to last, creating endless hours of annoying pop pop pops driving you crazy as your kiddo runs back and forth laughing maniacally at your plight. Now of you are being forced to attend a birthday party hosted by parents you can't stand for whatever reasons and the kid is in the right age bracket, look no further this is the toy for you. They will have absolutely no inclination you purchased this to give to their child solely to torment them, because they too will be swept up in the nostalgia and will think you are super awesome.

I know it doesn't look exactly like a vacuum. You can certainly buy a mini version of the dyson ball or eureka vacuums or countless others. But I didn't want to spend that much money on a toy I wasn't sure was going to get the mileage for the money. Well, my 2-yr-old son loves it! We've had it for over a year, and he still plays with it. Now the popping balls inside do make a considerable amount of noise, so if you're easily annoyed by noisy kid toys then please save yourself the grief! But if you can stand the noise, this is certainly a simple and fun toy! Plus! no batteries! That's always great in my book!

Purchased this for my 15 month old grandson because my own kids enjoyed it so much when they were little. My grandson absolutely loves it and won't put it down, even when you pick HIM up. It's the first toy he grabs each morning. The quality is not the same as it was 20 years ago but unfortunately, that's to be expected. The popper works well on the floors in some rooms and in rooms with carpeting, but it doesn't pop so well in other rooms with glossy hardwood floors. For the price, it's still a great toy that does work and entertain toddlers. Just have to find a room that it actually pops on.

I wanted to get something for my nephew that would annoy my sister out of her mind. Realizing that at a year old a drum set was still a bit too far off, and a power wheel would probably maim or kill someone, I settled on this. Thinking back to my child hood days running around, pushing something similar (except I think it was a lawn mower). So first the good, it does pop, seems to be built relatively sturdy (he hasn't destroyed it yet), and does motivate him to run around pushing it and my sisters sanity all over the place. The bad is the hard plastic wheels don't seem to get great traction on carpet, tile, or hard wood. Sooooo......duck tape to the rescue. Now it looks a bit like a redneck toy, which too me adds to the charm. To my sister adds to her misery (and of course my enjoyment). David loves it, duck tape and all. So overall I should probably rate 3 stars due to the need to modify it a bit, but I'm putting down 5 for the quaint rustic charm the ducktaped wheels give it!

This corn popper is such a classic toy. I knew my son had to have one. We even have a Christmas ornament like it! It does not help with walking because the child cannot put his or her weight on it like a push toy. My son had to really master walking before he could truly master pushing this around. He's 2.5 now and he plays with it all of the time. It pops better on the carpet, but works on hardwood too and does not scratch. It is a little loud, but that's just part of having a toddler.

This is a fun toy and my son like it a lot. It is just a little bit noisy especially when he is running around with it for more than 10 minutes. Overall this is a great toy for children in the 11 month+ age group. I got his toy as soon a my son was holding and walking. However he was unable to move it around on his own - till he could walk without support. So if your baby has just started holding and walking - you can wait a month or so before getting this. The product is durable, does not have any sharp edges, has been stepped on several times and banged on the floor - holds up very well for toddler use. Reduced 1 star for the noise.

The kids loved this toy.

This was one of their go to toys to play with and the only downside was the amount of noise it made.

I would say for sure this is a toy the kids will enjoy.

Side note: It would make a great toy for your nieces and nephews, you will be the best aunt or uncle around!
