    The 1000S is Infinity’s latest Reference subwoofer offer incredible installation flexibility. Their low-profile design allows them to fit perfectly into even the most shallow of enclosures – great for today’s compact cars. Polypropylene woofer cones deliver exceptional bass response at frequencies as low as 27Hz. But what makes these subs really stand out is their Harmanproprietary SSI™ (Selectable Smart Impedance), which allows the subwoofer to present the amplifier with either a 2 or 4 ohm load at the flip of a switch.

    alpine mrv-m500, kicker box blocked port, blew the rear window gasket loose, 06 f350 single cab, couldn't be happier, bass range of this sub is dumb. No blaring even @ high volume, easy best bang for the buck. Now I need new door speakers to match. Buy one.

    I was looking for a shallow sub with a "free air" capability around the $150 range. Took a gamble on this one and will never look back. This sub digs deep and doesn't need a lot of power to do so. I'm only running 80 watts to it (stock car amp with 4ohm setting) and it sounds great. I can just imagine how much better this would sound with a nice high power sub amp hooked up to it. Would highly recommend. BTW: my vehicle 2016 Audi S4, used the trunk as the sub "box" and used sound deadening material on the entire rear deck to help seal and prevent any rattles.

    Amazing subwoofer!! I bought this sub to swap out my Kicker CompC I got that came with a subwoofer box for my Ford F-150. The Kicker had similar specifications being a Single voice coil low profile sub. It actually has a higher RMS rating over the Infinity but can’t even compare. Kicker would start to distort at high volume, where as the Infinity isn’t even phased by it. This Inifinty has a selector switch for use as a 2ohm or 4ohm which is awesome and helps with your Amp hookup. I have all new Infinity Speakers throughout my F-150 ( 6x9 Kappa’s in front and 6.5 Reference series in rear) so I wanted to match the subwoofer. Boy I sure am glad I did! This sub is definitely under rated at 200RMS watts, because I’m able to turn it up higher then I was with the Kicker (which is rated @ 300RMS) and there’s absolutely NO distortion!! Having 800watt Max allows for hard hitting bass. The sound quality is just unparallel just like my Infinity speakers. The slim design also allows for installing in very tight slim boxes like the one I have which is great when needing to be used in a truck cabin application or to save space. I haven’t even broken in the subwoofer and it sounds amazing so I can’t wait to see what it will sound like in a week or so. Infinity makes amazing, true quality products and I’ve always purchased with confidence. Infinity and JBL are a Harmon Kardon company. They make some of the best audio products on the market. JBL has an identical slim design subwoofer that’s basically the same woofer, so either of the two would be a good choice. Don’t hesitate just purchase this subwoofer!! You won’t regret it!

    This speaker gives my Jeep TJ the additional sound punch it needed. The speaker is low profile so I was a bit skeptical. I could not find an appropriate box for the speaker but the spec sheet included details for three boxes. I chose a sealed box because it takes up less space. I built it according to the specs provided and gave it more power as suggested. It work really well. It has both the low base I was looking for and a dynamic range that also boosts the mid-range sounds that the 4" speakers just didn't have. I ran dedicated power from the battery using 8 gauge wire with a 60 amp fuse to a Kicker 500 watt smart amp. At 2/3 volume it puts out amazing sound. I can give it more volume but it's not necessary even at highway speeds and with a soft top.

It was in a ram2500 under the rear seat with a Memphis rms 250 to each speaker and they sound clear and hit hard. Really clean Lowes. Great speaker for the price. They are larger then a standard 10” hole. But I knew that when buying. Only took a small touch up with a jig saw. Don’t hesitate on buying them. They will not disappoint.

    Tengo uno del mismo tañano de la marca soundtream conectado a un amplificador que da 400 en un canal a 4 ohms que suena por mucho más fuerte que este.

    No sé si sea Proque el amplificador al que tengo este sub conectado es de 300 watts o el tamaño del cajón.

    Voy a ver la manera de hacer un cajón más grande para ver si es eso y si no conectar el otro sub soundtream pars descartar que sea el amplificador, ya que en bocinas aparte de polk Infinity siempre ha Sido de alta calidad para mí experiencia.

    La verdad esperaba más, no se si es Proque fue con la especificación mina de dimensiones del cajón o el amplificador ya que no da tanto bajo como esperaba.
