As long as you're not shy about removing & installing your rear springs, then these are a very simple to install. These are a great option when you occasionally have a heavy load, but not always (like in an SUV) - that way you can keep your lighter duty springs for comfort, but then air these bags up for a heavier duty rating when you are loaded up (for us, that's when we're camping and have a lot of gear in the back & a bike rack in the hitch). I installed on my Land Cruiser (which has a 2" lift) without any difficulty. If you also have a lifted vehicle, then you just cut off fewer of the bump jounce sections. These airbags help raise the rear up the 1" to 2" to overcome the sag that the camping gear & bike rack can cause when we're fully loaded.
Note that these are only rated to go up to 35 psi. If you plan to go higher than that, then you will burst them and not understand why other people are giving good reviews when you had a bad experience.
I highly recommend protecting the air lines with 1/4" wire loom tubing before you route the lines.
