I wanted to start a thread that will serve two purposes:
    1. Show off your awesome exhaust setups on your Tundra.
    2. Help those that are looking for exhaust setups to find the right one for them.
Please post up pictures, sound clips/video of your exhaust setups. We would love to see and hear them.
Provide all the info you know such as manufacturer, model, diameter, material, etc. Also provide your opinion of the sound and power increase/loss.
I will provide a list of all the possible exhaust manufacturers on the original post that I can find as well as the ones you help out with.

Let me fix this thread... Ha Jk.

I know there are a ton of pictures here and a lot were during my install, but looking at these you can see the quality and you can see that if you know how to turn a wrench at all, you can install exhaust kits for our trucks very easily. Most bolt right on. If you were to buy the Toyota TRD kit, it would install just like this one.

Here is what I put on my truck:
*BAMuffler Dual exhaust system made for TRD pipes, all done in stainless steel, made by Dirtydeeds Industries www.dirtydeedsindustries.com
    *X-Pipe
*Resonators welded onto the system directly behind the mufflers (zero drone)
*TRD Pipes black satin ceramic coated
*TRD Pipes set came with hanger for the extra pipe and a new wider heat shield

Too bad it's mostly used to house projects instead of working out! I bought it with 450 or so pounds in plates and the dumbbells, bench and squat rack for 250 bucks! The guy just wanted it out of his garage.

Think my wife is going to get me an exhaust for my birthday but i have to pick it out. Need to keep it around $300 or so i think. Might look into some local exhaust shops. BDM is one of them.

Really love my Flowmaster 10 series but recommend the x pipe crossover it changes the sound more like a beefed up charger... But brings the low end back and mpg up a few points... Just my opinion

If you get the parts it will be a lot cheaper bought from the muffler shop for the x pipe for part and install was 140. The flow master super 10s 69 per. Then the blk ceramic tips should be around 50 or so per. Order all those or have her order them then cost of install you can pay for :) or do it your self but then you'll need to make custom pipe. Mine was 140 for x pipe because I had it added and 500 for the custom pipe mufflers and tips and install but I think if you get all the stuff it would be a lot less I can measure my tips if you need that.

The 10 series is the smallest and loudest. Dang man. I'm not redneck enough. I like the deeper tones not the muscle car sound. 50 series or super 44 maybe.

These trucks are a lot more quiet than most trucks or cars out there even when they have straight pipes after the cats. Those 4 cats really quiet the exhaust. What really makes the exhaust sound bad or annoying is the drone. Brian, I know I'm bias because I have a DirtyDeeds system, but it's really nice man. He sells a budget system for under 350 that comes with a helmholtz resonator and ties into the stock rear exhaust pipe. The resonator seriously quiets the system and makes it sound great. Anyway, I'll jump off my soap box, but you could try it out for a while and if you didn't like it, just send it back for him to put a couple of his custom mufflers on it. You could probably work that out up front and he would make you a deal. I've spoke with him on the phone several times and feel like he is trustworthy and a good guy.

Here is a video of a guy with that budget system. Halfway or so he rolls the windows up and you can hear how awesome it sounds inside... Not to mention his setup comes with another 18 pounds of tq, not a loss like duals, and 10 hp. I bet this system is more quiet than those flowmaster 10s...

Honestly, if I had to do it over again and didn't go with duals, this budget system would be what I would have gone with... Would have saved me a lot of money too.

The budget system is really just open headers. "This system is our most simple Tundra exhaust system. It literally replaces the stock muffler with straight pipes that tie into a Y pipe and bolts straight up to the stock tailpipe. The budget system includes a brand new gasket for between the Y pipe and the stock tailpipe, a Helmholtz resonator"
Sounds good but probably too loud for my family truck.
I really like his 8" system. Probably the best but the price is a bit much.

Ok i will plan to remove the muffler to see how loud it is with open headers. If it is not as loud as i think then the budget system is a possibility. If it is too loud then i will check out other options.

The x pipe fixed my loss of power and mpg.

Yes it's straight pipes with a resonator. That resonator really quiets it down though. Like I said you could always add mufflers to it if you thought it was too loud. I be the kiddo would love it! Ha. Anyway, it was just a thought.
The other thing you could do is order a solid muffler with a straight thru crossover design... It would be inexpensive and probably come with a nice gain. I could have sworn wicked flow mufflers sell on. I had a wicked flow on my Tacoma and it sounded great.

Here is the thing with duals, you don't actually lose the power, it just changes the power band. The tq "loss" just means during cruising or towing. It doesn't mean a thing at wot. My exhaust actually tested faster at the track.
I barely noticed it at all and it's because the duals are set up correct with the xpipe.
But... If you want to add tq and hp, and you don't ever plan on headers, you should just go with a single out design. Toyota knew what they were doing it seems!
I've never felt like my duals give me any trouble towing and I've had some pretty heavy loads.

So I decided to put 1/4" spacers in the joints before the muffler to essentially cause an exhaust leak. Sounds ok but still sounds a little like an exhaust leak. :)
