How about vinyl wrap? Not to big of an area to do and will probably hold up better than dip. I would think it would be less expensive than painting too

First off, your grill looks great! I honestly think if you leave it just as it is you'd be fine. The chrome OEM headlamps and chrome bumper ends work well with each other. However, if your dead set on making a change with your headlamps, learn from my mistakes. First off I purchased a set of $200 LED bulbs to use with my OEM headlamps. Soon afterwards I started reading how the reflectors don't work well with LED bulbs. So then I decide to go with $370 Spyder headlamps (just received them today) and I'm happy with them except for the halogen low/high beam bulb isn't going to project the color I want. So now I"m stuck with thinking about retrofitting them at $500+ or buying some better quality $80 halogen bulbs and seeing how that works out. So learn from me, get the Spyders only if you really like them and buy the HID versions or retrofit your OEM headlamps. As for your bumper end caps, I'd only dip or wrap them if you go with smoke or tinted headlamps.

What color are you looking for? I like the look of the spyders, but would like to see them on and see how bright they are.

I was in a similar situation. I'm a sucker for black on vehicles.

I dipped my end caps and retrofitted my headlights. I wish I had vinyl wrapped them but I was a bit lazy. The dip has been holding up well but I prefer the finish of powdercoat or vinyl wrap over dip.

For the headlights, I retrofitted mine and I couldn't be happier with the end result. It was very time consuming and tedious though. I did a write-up on my retro, the link is in my Sig. If you are using a mobile device you may have to turn it sideways to see.

I was hoping to get something between 4500k to 6000k. I ended up settling for Piaa H9 halogen bulbs at 4150k. Here's a photo so you might be able to see how they look. I think the bulb color came out pretty close to the led bar. My switchback DRL's are gonna be around 6k so I hope that won't look to different.

Need help. Me and a friend did my retrofit . Hid projecters, halos, and led drls. My friend did the wiring, I myself am amueter at best. Here's the problem, I have one led light that's brighter than other, when I put left turn signal on, it flashes normal. Right side has hyper flash. When I looked at lights now driver side halo and led are not working. These halos and leds are on same circuit, they are grounded and hot is going into a fuse tap in cab via switch, plug into door locks for power. Apparently something is not right. This might explain why one light is brighter than other. I sure hope I didn't burn the halo out, being a retrofit. Any thoughts and suggestions would be great. Thanks

Thanks Ron, I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and have a shop do it, make it look professional, because it's far from that. Hahaha
