No, I'm with you. I'm a little old school and I love a little bit of chrome on my cars. Only chrome I don't like on the Tundras are the chrome grilles. That with the surround is just too much.

I should say that I like an appropriate amount of chrome. Some guys take it so far that it looks like the pep boys threw up on their truck. :)

I have a 2016 with all the chrome from the factory and the only place i don't like it is in the interior. Would it look cooler all painted to match the body? Yea.
But im not trying to impress anyone and i cant see any sense in replacing a bunch of parts on a brand new truck. If i do want to change chrome out, it can wait till the truck is paid off which will only be about a year and a half total. Back in my younger days sure i would have but i am almost 40 now and well ...priorities, everyone has different priorities.

Back in the day, the hot thing was to have spoked chrome wheels. Then everyone started doing it so people looked for other ways to be unique, just like everybody else. Bottom line is dance to your own bongo. No matter watcha do, it'll look old and outdated in a few years.

I like chrome too. It's sturdy stuff. Add chromium to steel you get stainless steel. Add more chromium, it becomes high grade stainless steel (e.g., 304). (you add small amount of other stuff too, but thing that's added is mostly chromium). My hitch ball is also made of chrome.

That I happened to also like its look is an added bonus.

I'm still going to replace my rear chrome bumper with a more useful (for me) black Ranch Hand rear bumper and it will match my front black Ranch Hand grille guard. I'm going to keep my front OEM chrome bumper "as is" just to aggravate anti chrome folks here. [IMG]

    Interior chrome does suck.

I've never been a fan of adding chrome, the stock stuff is just fine in my book. I'll probably get rid of some of my badges, but the front and rear bumper is going to stay.

I am not a real fan of chrome but Im not going to spend a bunch of money on aftermarket stuff either. I am taking the money I would spend on mods and putting it away for retirement. My Tundra is gonna have to accept being stock as long as I own it.

I wouldn't mind! Merica needs fixin'!!!! Although, knowing my values and stance on a lot of things go against PC crap. That being said, I'd probably be considered a racist and bigot just on that alone!!
for starters, I'd bring my AK, beretta 50, Kimber 45 and pet eagle to every single speech I make, starting with the State of the Union!! Might throw in a Bowie knife! LOL
And you know I love ya too Ron!! Wanna be my VP??

@ColoradoTJ thats one of the great things on this forum, gotta have thick skin! Coming from a family like that, just makes things more interesting!!

I also like the stock amount of chrome. Any added autozone chrome though looks like total poo in by opinion.
