Thank you. I may have the same thing going on. The only time I hear it is when I'm coming out of a parking lot or something at a slow speed. It make one ding and then nothing else.

Didn't do it today, but received my highly anticipated Tesla Style Headunit 7.1 Fastboot and installed it. Love it. I waited for a long time for them to get the "kinks" worked out. I must say the unit is perfect. Everything now works and exceeds my expectations!

I'm considering getting a tesla, so I looked at their screen and it has no buttons. Seeing that clean look plus it coming sooner is what made me get the knobless version haha

I think I've seen someone that has the SR5 with one. They reported no issues. I don't know what the difference in interface choices would be though.

Obviously you feel more sway in corners. Otherwise the ride is appreciably smoother w/o them as the wheels are more independent. If you hit a bump on the left side it's not automatically transmitted to the right side via the sway.

If u have it by dropping the skid you will see the wear marks on it. Mine already had the skid shim kit installed by the dealer and it worked perfect without any sounds. Then 1 day I decided to paint my calipers and in doing so I jacked up the truck in the front to get both sides up at once by doing it under the crossmember. Obviously I didn't feel the need to take the skid plate off since it looked like it butted up to the crossmember. But by doing it this way I must have either pushed or bent the skid plate up further to make contact on the crossmember.

It sounded horrible for 2 months before I brought it in to get fixed under warranty. It would do just like u said, start and stop under slow speeds get a squeak and a grind like metal on metal. I live on a hill going up into my driveway so soon as the truck flexed on uneven ground it was pretty loud and annoying. Made my truck sound like a piece of shit. So the tech dropped the skid and was able to see I already had the shims in it. He could also see where the crossmember was rubbing on the plate just where I told him I was pretty sure it was coming from. Luckily, I knew him and he went the extra mile to add a little more space with washers to keep it off that. He also said he had an idea if it comes back to put a piece of leather between.

Don't worry it's common issue and Toyota should fix it for free since there is tsb's out for it. It's an easy fix, they can put like a small shim in there to give a tiny space with some rubber bushings, you'll be good to go.

None to day....that’s why I’m here.
    [Hurricane project

I wanted to have a Fuel Can for piece of mind and generators. I hadn’t seen a good way to mount one on a tundra, then again I didn’t look to hard.

    My answer to this problem:
    5 gallon Jerry can
    Smittybuilt here can holder
    4’ of 1” x 3/16” strap steel
    (4) 5/16”x1” bolt w/ lock washers/nuts
    (2) 1/2”x1-1-2” carriage bolt w/ lock washers/nuts
    Paint

Cut the steel in 20” lengths. At 1” from end drill 1/2” hole. At 13” and 18” bore 5/16” holes.

Paint it up and bolt it up and use the carriage bolts in the rails.

Also it fits nicely under my revolver bed cap.
