The only colors for 19 are white, black, voodoo blue. So unless the 20 pro comes in MGM, you'll have to get it painted or buy another MGM surround and swap the center

Thanks for the pic, does the original Rigid Dually have a double switch or is it brighter? I'm confused what that means, I thought the fog was just on/off like OEM.

@1UPPER or @GreatAvalon can correct me if I'm wrong, but @anthonygan, if you are just wanting to change out the amber turn signal on the 2018 headlights you can also save some money by going with the VLED 'High Visibility Amber 6 LED' (see here: http://www.vleds.com/shop-products/led-bulbs/7443/7443-6-hv-a.html )

It's $100 for a set of 2 of these with the hyper flash fix (resistor) instead of $300 for the V6 Tritons. The main difference that I am aware of is that these are 450lm instead of 500lm.

That's my plan for the next mod.

    Flux capacitor!
I think those would work still but they won’t be as bright. The biggest difference I see is the V6 Tritons shine light 360 degrees around. I paid $160 for all the parts I listed above from vleds not $300.

Yep, $160 looks better, I'm getting tired. I overlooked that the V6 are sold as a pair and added 2 to my cart. Doh!

    Hi Roman,

Is this still the bulge that goes with the new grill?

Yeah I’m also getting it for the switch back feature ! So it isn’t amber all the time! It’s only amber when I signal

Someone already has a grille for sale on eBay. Pic taken from there. You can see the missing spot where that other piece goes. Hopefully @ARES bracket fits nice and snug there.

Yep. If I would have known with my harness the amber would not have lit up with the parking lights, I would have done the high vis amber instead of the V6. I have a buddy who uses them and they’re great and plenty bright. Only reason I did Tritons is fit the better hi/lo ratio...but they’re never on in lo mode with the harness so that ratio doesn’t matter lol.

Damn!!! That bracket just ruins the entire 19’ grill! Is there not a way that the bracket can be placed behind the grill??

My suggestion would be to use vinyl graphics or paint. If you did the rectangular blocks and continued the pattern over the center badge it would help tie in the badge. Photo attached for sample. Another idea would be to use a vinyl sticker design over the badge. E68BC50E-BBA7-47CB-BBD8-DC7C4EBBC9C3.jpg

If you painted the whole grille with the new badge first the new plate would disappear more. Then install the rectangular paint or graphics. I think it would look good! Especially and high gloss black color with a matte black contrast. It would look tough!

If I didn't already have 7 different grille inserts sitting in my basement I'd be ordering up one of these new grilles for my 2016. I thought the same thing about using gloss black and matte black over a plastic dummy panel. I also thought it would be a great spot to incorporate a flush mounted forward view camera into the rectangle dummy panel since I have no sensor to worry about.

Well, thanks for letting us know about this! I guess that solves my dilemma of choosing between the honeycomb and Pro grille when I eventually color-match...

That would make things easier since the 2017 Pro grille is the only version that comes in cement. I am kind of digging the look of the honeycomb with a color match though. Maybe if I could find someone who wants a 2017 Pro grille I could order a Platinum grille in whatever color and a Pro grille in cement, then just swap the inserts...

Interesting, so if I put nothing there, it looks like a hole. Ideas for non TSS peeps? (cue the suction cup dildo jokes)

    A bunch
Let's see what @ARES for his new cover. On his thread he stated he will make the faceplate match the design, and with all the great work he's done so far I figure just get the faceplate from him would work for pre-2018 Tundras.

The emblem cover for the regular grill is $42 so I'm hoping for a competing price, it's a tossup whether I'll go 2018 honeycomb or 2019 Pro grill.
Either that or maybe Roman can come up with something for a simple cover.
