My truck officially turns two weeks old on Thursday and this weekend I FINALLY get to put some additions on. Today, added the Tint installed. Limo on the Back and Rear Passenger Sides and 14% on the Driver and front Passenger Windows. I thought it would be a bit darker but still love how it turned out. Check out the before and after shotsYY3c4uPpTKi8rIT9HhMsLw.jpg .fullsizeoutput_792.jpg 8Nct+64zQd6gcDqD3DEplg.jpg

Saturday, will be another round of additions. GoRhino RB20 Boards, Black Tailgate Letter Inserts, Rear Sway Bar and TRD Dual Exhaust. The following week I will be having my Toyota rims Powder Coated. That process takes about 5 days in total. So far so good. Gotta love the Tundra.

@treihing I went back to get my front windshield tinted with 50% (3M Crystalline I believe) to try and reduce light and heat a bit. I couldn’t be happier....would highly recommend. It helped darken up the front windows from the outside a bit, def helps with heat, and no issues at night...at all. I went with 15% in front as well, but 35% in rear bc of factory tint. I’ll try to post some pics tomorrow morning.

Pretty happy with my sunTek CeramicIR. Was $325 installed for 5 windows (pre tax), they peeled the fronts off and installed over the rear doors:

    40% on the front
20% added to the rear factory tint

(Before on a sunny day over after on a cloudy day)

    Who you callin Ugly!?

Thanks! tinted the 3rd brake light since that picture. (it was bothering me about as much as the bumper corners, but it was a much quicker/cheaper fix LOL)
Few other things i want to do to it, but those tinted lights to make it look BA IMO

If you're talking about mine - Thanks!
I really like the higher reflective properties of the "ceramic" tint. Gives the truck a nice look IMO.
If that wasnt for mine, sorry for wasting your time reading this comment LOL

    @treihing Here you go....

Had them cut around black dots on windshield. Also need to be careful with water/soap around sensor when installing.

Im doing 5% tint on the sides and rear and not messing with the front because they will pop you fast for it here. They don't like the 5% on the front door windows but I roll em down if I see em standing in the road checking inspection stickers and seatbelts. It's a lot cheaper to tint here especially if you pay cash $160 bucks.

I paid $350 with $25 in tax. They had cheaper options, but the $150-200 was the cheap stuff... just darker, not really UV blocking or any of that. Definitely check out the product.. my truck stays way cooler than my wife’s car - she’s got the cheaper stuff

I will ask when I go for sure because I did see yours was a UV product. I'm just waiting on my plate to come in so I can go get my inspection sticker. You can't get an inspection sticker without a plate. Then it's a hassle to get an inspection sticker with 5% on the fronts. Legal limit on the front here is 40% and that's not near enough for me.

40% is max legal here too. Plenty dark for me. All the ceramic films from a given manufacture, regardless of tint%, block the same amount of UV and Infrared, as I understand it, it’s a propery of the film not the tint.

@HecticEnergy I thought 35% was Max here in TX? Regardless, 5% is perfect for everything else!
