Last night : Ducks 76, Buffs 56. Oregon beat down Arizona last week. At AZ. 49 home streak done!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe we should have a college basketball thread. Nothing better than college football and basketball. SEC basketball fans?? Hello???
Not to mention track and field? I have a personally signed Steve Prefontaine autograph and Dick Fosbury, (the first to use the sissor kick for high jump, now know as the Fobury Flop. I have what used to be a cool OJ autograph too. My high school track coach (Bill,"Zeek" Levins) was pretty tight with Bill Bowerman, the legendary Duck track coach. I have a lot a cool autographs . I got Fosburys' auto when he was sitting in the crapper in the locker room. Got Pre's when he was walking out. Pre didn't do to many autographs. Very, very rare. I still have my proto type Nike Waffle's that we used on our cross country team. (North Douglas High School, Drain, OR) The waffle design rubber was actually cut by hand and glued on to our shoes. Same ones used by the Ducks steeple chase guys. (1968 and on). I'd be more than happy to post my autograghs here in case anyone is interested. Not brag, just fact.

Ron, I didn't know you had the good fortune to live in the great state of Oregon. We, as in the company I work for, Transcat, has a calibration lab in Tualitin. It's known as the "Portland " lab. Our lab here in Aurora,CO is known as the "Denver" lab. Do you miss the Oregon rain?? heh heh. Bet you don't miss the beautiful Oregon coast.

I gave those shoes to my younger brother years ago. He's pretty good about hanging on to things like that so I'll check with him.
