During extreme off road use factory and fiberglass bed sides are prone to spreading apart. To combat this, SDHQ has designed a unique system that is completely hidden and does not hinder bed space. We use a heimed adjustment rod to pull the bed sides back into proper spec. Keeping true to SDHQ's highest standard of fit and finish this product is a combination of black powder coated mild steel and high grade T6061 aluminum that will withstand the test of time no matter the condition.

    Key Features:
    • Supports factory bedsides, especially if there is no tailgate
    • Completely hidden
    • Prevents premature fatigue and cracks
    • Does not obstruct any bed space
    • Fully adjustable
    • Can even help is bedside is already bent
    • Perfect for trucks with fiberglass bedsides

    What is included:
    • (2) Main Uprights
    • (2) Upper Bolt Pucks
    • (5) Lower Pivot Brackets
    • (5) Lower Mounts
    • (2) Connecting Rods
    • (2) Right Hand Clevis
    • (2) Left Hand Heims
    • (2) Fender Support Replacements
    • (2) Hole Drilling Templates

Here are a few pictures to show how much bed flex the Tundras actually get.

Interested in these. I assume by making the back end more solid it will also quite down the noise of the bed wiggling when going down rough roads or off-road.

Definitely helps with the bed looking like a piece of jello as it goes down a fire road, etc. Besides being adjustable, the best part is that it is all hidden!

Let me know how it goes and how much it helps! I may or may not need these. I'm still not sure how your bed can bend that much inward like in the picture, if the tailgate is closed, but I did remove the OEM bedside supports near the wheel well so my bedsides wobble in the wind a bit. I'd also love to see pics of how the kit mounts to the bedside itself and not just the frame.

Yes you could. Only need to pull out the tail lights to install.

Good morning, Brian! Did you install this system last year? If so, can you give us a report about the ease of installation, and any benefits you've observed...? Or post a link if I missed a review you already did. Thanks!

Have you tested these on a vehicle vs a stock bed to see what kind of forces it is able to withstand? I assume that the underlying concept is that the cam/turnbuckle thing pushes one side of the "lever" out which forces the top part IN... In practical terms though, how effective is it? Have you put one on a bed that is already flexed out and seen if you can generate enough force to get it back in at all?

The stock bed is very flimsy towards the tail portion so yes it is effective. We were able to get over 3/4" in each direction of correction for a bent bed but it will also hold the stock bed firm in place.

Thanks... that's exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for.
So in other words, I should go put a high-lift between the two bed-sides, push them apart and then tell the wife that I need these to "CORRECT" the issue!!

Does the bedside support system do anything to increase load carrying ability or rigidity of the bed rails when it comes to camper shells? I put a deposit on a Vagabond Nomad, which is about 380-400 lbs and has a significant cantilever over the cab. Just curious if these would add additional strength to help support the camper during offroad use? Would obviously still be running with the tailgate on and closed.
