does anyone know of a rear shock relocation kit that fits a 2.5x16" shock besides the camburg kit? (14-21) i know total chaos used to make one not sure if they still do ill call Monday when they are back from "summer break"

I've heard the camburg kit can and has broken before, but id like to hear from anyone who has that kit and what they think of it

i know cutting the bed and doing a cage is the best thing to maximize travel, but cutting the bed isn't an option for me, not ready for it yet at least.

hoping to get my DK LT kit on after summer.. southern utah heat isnt anything to mess with haha

    Paging @BiggHertz.

Total chaos kit last I heard when we called was not listed but could still be ordered. The camburg works great just needs to be installed correctly.

That’s what I heard too, gonna call Monday and confirm, I called dirtking just to see if they were ever open to making something similar but they said probably not.

I know the bottom mount is welding and fitting but the top from what I understand just bolts in, I’ve heard the top mount can shear off

16” length shock is an LT length shock and would absolutely require a bed cage to operate. This is due to the fully compressed length of the shock exceeds available length and full bump.

12” length shock with a relocation kit ala Camburg or Total Chaos is a great compromise.

Gotcha, I got the 16” length from some guys who run camburg relocation bracket and they said they run a 2.5x16” triple bypass shock, but good to know to get a 2.5x12” thanks for that

Are you running either kit? Or a bed cage?

I'm running a full lt with bed cage yep Rey's Prerunner Build . But as Bigghertz said the 16'' needs a bedcage for sure.
