+1 For headlight revolution. Got led headlight bulbs and the company is awesome to deal with. GTR are a great product.

Well I debadged and removed the TRD Off Road decals. Then used adhesive remover and dulled the paint in the few spots there was residue left on :bananadead: I’ve never had that happen before to the paint on the previous vehicles I’ve debadged.

No pics since it’s dark now. I used a paper towel and immediately washed the area after removing the residue

White. It’s hard to see unless you’re looking at it from an angle with the light hitting it.

Of course you should know it’s a Super White truck. What else would Captain America drive?

20171012_162403.jpg Took it to the dealer to take advantage of the toyota care free oil change and tire rotation. However, upon my usual inspection before taking my truck, which u can see in the reflection of my forearm in the door to highlight, the dealer, Prestige Toyota in Ramsey felt the need to give me a little more than I asked for. You can see the 4 lines of touch up paint having this be the 2nd time of bringing it there that some scumbag opened a car door using mine as the stop. I even warned them about it since it happened on the 1st time and this being 3rd. I was pretty pissed since I warned and told to call me soon as it was done so I could get it out there figuring less time there less chance for this. But, they got me again. They said they will pay for a body shop to remove, which would require painting large portion of both doors and blending, or I could live with and whatever they don't pay someone for that they'll give me credit there. I'm leaning that way since I don't really want a large strip sanded and painted on both doors for 4 scratches (2 each time). What u guys think? Take the credit and either get parts if needed or future maintenance for free. Oh yeah and when I got it back to work it was leaking oil all over my skid. I had to take back, have them inspect, replace and do change again, and degrease. Almost unbelievable right? I'm like wtf am I going to do with however much credit since I can't trust a simple oil change and getting my truck back without doors being opened into mine. I'm afraid to go back. Wtf?

Take the credit for parts and start doing your own oil changes. This will give you a nice budget for upgrades/mods and you never know some dbag will door ding you the day after you get the doors painted/repaired...Just my .02 cents

20171012_162311.jpg Dude at body shop was even having a hard time getting a photo bc touch up paint helping make less noticeable. Even my boy who dropped me off to get truck couldn't see it until I pointed it out to him. I just know it will prob bother me and I'll notice it everytime I get in or out knowing it there. I just don't think it worth what it would take to fix in doing both doors to blend. Think I'll live with it and either get a new bulge to get rid of my son's trampoline attack scratch or some other form of the credit.

I took my truck there for an oil change since I purchased it from there and I am pretty sure that the same thing happened to me. GOT SCRATCHED WHILE IN THEIR "CARE" by the time I noticed it was a few days later. And I don't drive my truck in a daily basis. I lost that one but learned my lesson. I have. I trust in that dealership at all.

Tim the service manager there is a good guy and after the 1st time knows me and kept in good care the 2nd time with no issues. He wasn't there today n I told advisor who made notes but b4 I even left I noticed they parked outside and literally only left 1 foot b/t mine and white car. So I walked over and looked if door was opened into mine where would it hit. Sure enough upon pickup it took 1 quick walk around and 10 secs later I saw it and brought it to attention. They said they would touch up n see if I'm happy. Sorry but 4 lines of touch up paint that sticks up slightly raised over factory paint don't satisfy me after I warned them. Problem is no communication b/t dept like adviser, manager, valet. I blame valet for parking so close and I'm guessing 1 of the young kids who don't give a shit probably did it. I didn't have chance to watch on camera but I'm 100% sure it happened there and can guess where n how. I almost can't even believe it they did it a 2nd time. I also can't believe I kept my cool enough to not get myself arrested over it. Felt like someone kicked me in the nuts. Least they willing to admit and attempt to resolve, I'm just scared to death to ever take back for anything but a part and run. That or Tim will have to babysit it while time it there. That place use to be top notch years ago, wtf happened. I even said what Good is say $500 in credit if I don't ever want to come back or trust it won't happen again. I mean 66.66666% chance so far of a douche dinging my door. The more I even think about it the more I want to go back in to raise hell. Kinda feel the need and plan to tomorrow while I update them on my trip to Saddlebrook today to body shop they sent me to. Owner wasn't even there and telling me I'd have to go all way back so he can see in person. I'm hoping the pics suffice since i don't want to paint 2 doors to fix. I'll try n keep my cool somewhat tomorrow, fingers crossed
