    Hello,
I have a 2014 Tundra that i recently changed my lift kit out for the new 2.5 Adj. Kings set for 3" lift to match what i have been running. I now have issues with my front sway bar contacting the coil-overs bottom bucket. This has caused surface damage to the buckets and i am looking for relocation brackets to fix this. I have only been able to get drop brackets and that did not work. I need to move the bar forward at least 1/2" to 5/8" to creat a space between the two moving parts.
Has anyone had this issue and what was the fix besides removing the sway bar.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks All

Just take it off and throw it in the garbage. If you actually off-road your truck you’ll be happy you did.

The wife drives it every once in a while so it has to stay. It would be nice to have quick connects. But for now i need to modify the position of the bar to work.

Stupid question, but the lower shock mount spacers are installed the correct orientation?

Does this make a clunking noise when it happens? I think it's happening to me

There is no clunking noise but you can see the rub markings on the shock lower cup. Yes the shock spacers are installed correct we did check that right off.

Sway bar is off for now I'm heading up to the Mountain this weekend. See how the wife feels driving it. I am going to keep looking for the right parts. Any help would be great.

This seems to be common with kings. Can’t you round off the sway bar ends?

On the Tacoma, the king coilovers come with a new mounting bracket for the swaybar. Did the tundras not come with one?

I’ve seen lowered brackets before. I’d take off the front tho personally.

This might sound like a dumb question but if you go off road, you probably wouldn't have sway bars to begin with. If you dont go off road, what is the on road advantage to lifting a truck?

To actually answer your question, Icon, Toytec, and Readylift sell relocation brackets specifically for this issue. Around $40.

To catch up with everyones responses Yes i did the alignment didn't do anything. I agree for the offload i did remove it for the 5days in Death Valley but reinstalled for the streets. I have tried the Ready Lift part #5008 which shows a relocation but it is only a spacer for the Tundra, same with the Toytec. The relocation bracket shows the 4 holes that will allow the mounting of the sway bar 1/2" forward but they are for the tacoma and 4Runners. You call them and they can't answer why the picture doesn't natch the product numbers.
I am over to for a while i have removed it and like it but wife when she drives it will just deal with it.

Don’t the drop brackets shift the mounting points by 1/2” or so? Make sure they were turned the right way?

The drop bracket moves it down and that shifts it a little but not forward enough to count. It's off now and i am good and wife doesn't drive it enough to worry about it but i am going to still look for a way to make it work someday.

Did the caster change any on your alignment? My sway bar was within 1mm of hitting my shock before but after the alignment moved my caster I now have like 4mm before they touch. I may be wrong but I think the caster moving the wheel back or forward could help so long as they keep you within spec. Just a thought, not a mechanic lol.

If you're happy with your caster, then you could try changing your misalignment spacers so that the one closest to the sway bar is longer than the other side - either switch them around (if they're different sizes and the shorter one is on the sway bar side) or purchase a new set. I had to do something similar because my CV boot was rubbing on my spring.
