Thinking of moving from Tacoma to Tundra
    Hello,
I currently have a Gen 2 2015 Tacoma DCSB TRD Off-road 4x4 and a 2007 FJ Cruiser and am thinking about getting a 2022 Tundra. I look forward to getting information, thought and opinions on the 2022 Tundra.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Lots of folks on here have done just that. Many will likely be chiming in soon.

Do you need a fullsize truck? If yes, do it. Many of us here came from a Taco to a Tundra as mentioned above^

Had a full size before the Tacoma- a Ford F-250 with the Powerstroke 7.3 Diesel so I put the Tundra kinda in the middle. You ask the key question though…want versus need. I would like the extra room both in the cab and the bed as well.

your tacoma and FJ are almost too close to being the same vehicle. Tundra if you need a larger towing vehicle or a larger bed for work.

I upgraded from Tacoma TRD Sport 4x2 to a 2017 Tundra Limited 4x4. I have never regretted it (although current gas prices suck with a 38-gallon tank and mostly 13 mpg City driving, but if you buy ‘22 Tundra gas milage won’t be an issue). Go for it!

If you are interested in larger towing, or are wanting to load this trucks bed.. watch the payload. Here is a trick, count the lug nuts of the truck.. If you are aware of those restriction, and still want the Tundra, go find a good deal! A nice platform to do many things.
