I would be very interested in a TRD style grill for my 06 double cab.

Is the grille the same on all 03-06? Or is double cab different? A lot of grilles I see say “except double cab.”

Are all grilles the same for 2003-2006? Or are double cab different than regular cab and access cab?

Double cab is different dimensions. Different grille, different hood, different headlights...

Different fender flares, different fenders, different tailgate, different tail lights, different headliner & overhead console, different rear window, different windshields, different frame....

Basically, the Double Cab is its own truck, like ... a Ford Sport Trac, the black sheep of the 1st gen family. Regular and Access cabs share more than they differ. Double Cab differs more than it shares.

I'm shocked they didn't put a totally different badge on it. Like Turdra. Or Fordra.

I mean, they could've just put "Sport Trac XLT" under the Turdra logo so they knew what inspired the DC to be designed that way:rofl:

(ps: Someone reversed the order of the pictures on that, AC should be on top)

Can you share how it needed to be modified? I’m finding precious few options to swap out the chrome grille on my 2001, and don’t mind doing some modding if I can make the EAG for an 03 work.

Was that swapping into your existing 2001 surround? Looks good.

@jerryallday Definitely would be willing to buy one if you end up getting that figured out, 06 Double cab as well. Also even just getting info you have on someone else that may already be doing it.

    I have an 05 AC.
Did some research and then just decided to LINE X the grille. Looks great and cost about $150. I’ll post a photo if anyone is interested.

Teqcustoms replied (Hunter Gill, owner) and said that the grill WILL fit the Access Cabs! I will be getting one to confirm fitment.
