I have a 2006 Tundra SR5 2WD that I recently inherited from my grandfather. The passenger window will not go up. I have replaced both the master switch, passenger door switch and window regulator and motor with no luck. Is there a place I can get a window wiring harness? I think there’s a short somewhere in the wires.

Since you have replaced everything, I would go back to the basics. Have you checked to see if you are getting any power to the main D/S switch connector?

Is it bound in the track, or were you able to get it to slide up and down with the door panel off while replacing the regulator? Test for power on both switches and if you think there’s a short, check for continuity to ground and fuses for the circuit.

Get yourself a multimeter and watch a few youtube vids to learn how to troubleshoot with it.

The window is not bound and I changed the fuse as well. Thanks for all the input. I’ll get a multimeter and see if I can figure it out that way. I’ll keep everyone posted with the progress. Thanks again all.

    Does the lock button work?

Look in the foot well. There is a little scuff panel on the side of the footwell. Should be curved. Here's a general picture of it.

Pull that off. You will probably have to take off the scuff panel that runs along the carpet where the cab meets the bottom of the door. Phillips head screws.

Inside the scuff panel by the foot well should look similar to this. These are your door harness connectors. Make sure they are plugged in. In my photo they are not. You can see where they would normally live just behind the loose connectors.

Silly thing to check, but it could be that one of them simply is loose or has water damage.

I did check that as well when I was tracing wires. The connector is getting power there however one of the wires on the connector the goes to the door switch doesn’t seem to have power. I’m wondering if that wire is the “window up” relay and has a short. Does sound accurate or no? I don’t know much about electrical.

Bad time of year for this to happen. I hope you figure it out quickly.
