After many frustrating months of watching tundra crewmaxes fly off the lot before I could get there, I finally snagged one last night as soon as they detailed it. 29k miles

Unfortunately didn't get to bring it home because it has a pretty gnarly shake over 55mph. They are fixing it and i will be taking it to be looked over. Ive got 3 months to ensure nothing is messed up according to the NY lemon law. I did commit to buying it .

I wanted to get borla atak but not seeing a catback option. People are recommending dirty deeds. I was thinking corsa

Haha sorry it's all I got. I was on my way to go buy an f150 (I know I know) and the salesman from another location texted me that picture and said ive got a tundra fresh out of the detail room. I said I'm on my way I'm buying it. It was dark by the time I drove 2 hours to get there. Crazy story really.

Welcome. Good luck, that would be a show stopper for me. I hate vibrations and had to deal with that for years in mine till I figured out how to correct it.

I'm with you. I also hate vibrations and rattles. It'll be fixed or they'll refund me for sure.
I've got a yukon denali with 210,000 miles that barely vibrates.

    Congrats on the new ride!

Little detective work and you could probably find the previous owners posts on this forum lol, it's definitely been owned by a modder.

I'm willing to bet the shake will be easy to diagnose, just looking at the rim/tire fitment.

Yeah, those wheels and tires are the culprit. Mudders on high poke 20" rims are gonna be tough to cure.

Toyotas and after market wheels are hard to balance and get to a smooth ride. That is why I took the offroad wheels and had them powder coated black, so I can have a smooth ride. Good luck and congrats on the truck!

Welcome from NC and congrats! That chrome hood bulge and bumper ends would have to go! The PRO grill and color matched surround look good though. Best Tundra year as you don’t have to worry about all of the TSS crap that started on the 18 models.

Look up Volant exhaust. They are made by Corsa and sound identical for half the price…..I have one on my tundra and have always run Corsa on my Vettes. No drone, quiet when you want them to be a roar when you want them to.

Congrats on the truck. I’d also see what kind of lift is on it and get smart on its design/components. This could be a contributing factor. That said, I agree with the comments that the wheel/tire combo is prolly the culprit, yet too much “poke” plays hell on wheel bearings.

I have a dirty deeds 10” exhaust…quiet until you lean into it.

Stainless Works has a few options for tundra exhaust. Kind of a long wait because of COVID but another month and I should have it.

Nice! I think also the wheel/tire set up is a factor in the shake. Maybe go get it aligned and rotated and chk tire pressure and see how that goes. Dirty Deeds for me.
