Hi good people.I live on the east side of Seattle in the exurbs / in the mountains, and I’m happy to join the board.

I have an 08 Trail Teams FJ Cruiser, my wife drives an 07 Sequoia, and I am waiting out a deposit that I have down on a new Tundra. It’s currently on an SR5 with TRD off-road package, but I’m moving that over to a Limited with TRD off-road, and maybe with the hybrid engine, depending on pricing details.

We will build the Tundra out for weekend camping/light overlanding. My daughter is now 19 and my son is 15, and I’m looking forward to a few more years of camping with them before they are out of the house.

Here’s my baby, the FJ, with my son enjoying the playground.

Is that the Trail Teams in Cement? We had that one and traded it in for a 4Runner TRD Pro. It was a lot of fun to drive. Welcome aboard!

we definitely like them. The FJ has a bit over 280,000 miles, although I blew a head gasket and I’m waiting for a new engine. The Sequoia is young at 179K :)

thanks! It’s white. And, with a new engine coming soon, this becomes teenage boys main driver. We also have a 1966 Ford F 100 which is his project. It’s fun having a gearhead son… Gives me a reason to be in the garage :)
