Hello, my name is Sean. I'm from the DFW area in NTX. I currently drive an '18 Tacoma TRD Off Road. This is my second post on these forums because my first outlines exactly why I joined. I hope to learn from y'all and hopefully I can make a decision soon whether I should wait for a '22 Tundra TRD Pro or not.

Welcome from Fort Worth. If you need a recommendation for a dealership I have a contact at one.
I personally wouldn't buy the first year of a brand new model if I had other options.

Edit: found your other post. I'd either try to get a current Tundra or go with the GX 460

Thanks, @RobertD! I've looked around for a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro but the only one I found was marked up to $72k which was why I decided to look at a '22 GX 460 just to compare. Park Place in Plano has a silver one they're getting from their sister dealership (in Grapevine, I believe?) that'll be here by the end of next week. Honestly, I'll be happy with the GX, but I would prefer a truck if I there was some kind of guarantee I could get my hands on a TRD Pro that wasn't marked up so much whether a '21 now or a '22 later. I also don't know what my '18 Taco TRD Off Road will be worth then if I wait for a '22 TRD Pro. Right now dealerships are begging for me to sell it.

Logic makes sense. Who knows what the used market is going to do. Always better to trade in when you know they are giving you too much. I've asked if my contact will be getting any '21 Pros. I'll message you if he says yes.
