I installed some lights last night and was wanting to run my wiring underneath the hood cowl.

Ideally what I really wanted to do is just lifted up on the engine side to slightly past the sheet metal so I could just tuck he wiring behind. So I went ahead and popped all the clips out that retained it, and I couldn't get the actual plastic to push up and separate from the front portion of that sheet metal in the engine bay.

So I was curious if anyone to remove the hood cowl and if they could provide some insight please.
I'm guessing at this point in order to remove it you have to remove the wipers but for what I'm looking to do just tuck some wiring underneath and behind I don't really want to have to go through all that effort.

    Thanks!
