Thats a significantly different offset from the post you quoted.
Your offset puts you in the rub sweet spot .
But you may clear with that size tire.

I wish I could offer more advice, but from what I’ve read, it seems like the closer you get to a negative offset, you have to be mindful of potential rubbing, but I’m not sure if 285/65r18 would. Depends if you’re talking an MT or an AT tire. I was looking at some MTs in that size that specs say are closer to a 33” tire. In AT that size is around 32.6”. So all these things play a part. If you do get rubbing, should be a fairly simple fix with that size tire. I had already removed this front flaps anyways because I think they look silly

    I have a picture/question request.

Does anyone have pictures of their 2.5 gen Tundra on King OEM Performance series shocks, with stock 18 wheels and BFG A/T tires? And the size of the tire would be helpful as well.

    Thanks in advance.

I’m looking at a very similar setup with Icon 6-Speeds. Was going to do 285/75/17 but they are on national backorder with no ETA at DT anyway. So now considering 315/70/17. Going with Falcon shocks - they are a 2.25 level. Also have a bumper shim ordered. What are your thoughts now that you’ve had it a while.

Seems like everything is on backorder nowadays. Anyway, I really like the 315s. Despite a slightly noticeable power loss, I have no regrets!

Backorder on the tires or with ICON?
Edit: re read your post. Take a look at the 305/70 also. Same height as the 285/75 but half an inch wider. Weight wasn't much more either.20210622_071119.jpg

Looks good. So I will throw this out to anyone that might have some answers on it. I know a lot of guys don’t care about the tires sticking out and throw dirt or rocks at the side of the truck. But does it happen a lot? I know it has to. But just curious how bad. Also does the truck handle much difference in the stance? Also I’m running 285/70/18 on my tundra Pro. If I do off set on wheel 18 they will stick out about a inch. How much more will they stick out if you do 0 offset? Any info appreciated.

I have zero offset and the paint chips are minimal and I spend a fair amount of time on dirt rocky trails. Im OCD on keeping her clean and at the the end of the day its way worth it. ... I left mud flaps on with methods 0 offset and 295/70/7s.

Thanks. How many inches are your 295’s sticking out with the Method wheels.

With a 2-2.5" lift and OEM offroad wheels (-60 offset?) which of these will rub?

    Toyo AT2
    Size, inches, weight, width:

    275/65R18 32.1 51 11
    275/70R18 33.2 52 11
    285/65 R18 32.6 55 11.5
    285/75 R18 34.8 65 11.3
    LT295/70R18 34.3 63 11.8

    Can't decide between the 33.2 or 34.8.
32.6 is already 12 pounds heavier than OEM size and 34.8 is 22 pounds more!

285/75/18 will rub as I just put those on this week. I had to trim the splash guard, trim the mud flaps and remove the front splash from the wheel well. Not hard to do, but I definitely feel the extra weight of the tires. However, they look amazing!

I haven't calculated MPG as I disconnected the battery, but I see the fuel gauge quickly go down.

The width of the tire was the issue for me to trim at full-lock/tight turns so the width of the tire needs to be less than 11.3.

    Great info, thanks.
    OEM wheels?
Weight is a concern, don't want to go over board.
Do they rub now that you trimmed the splash guards?

OEM TRD wheels see pictures above.

Cut the splash guard so no issues there. I trimmed the mud flaps, then felt more vibration/heard rubbing on the driver's side so I trimmed more off at lunch. No more issues now.

The mud flaps I took my multi-tool which has a saw blade and just started cutting the rear corner of the mudflap. Drove around and felt more rubbing so I cut some more. I had to cut some more after this picture, but it will give you an idea of where I was rubbing on both sides.

Can anyone tell me about these wheels? I know they are 20”. A local has 2 brand new ones for sale and I want to know if the bore will fit my stock 2021 1794 and where I could get 2 more.

    They'll definitely fit.

They're +50 offset (the 18" TRD wheels are +60). I understand from a Toyota service rep and also my Discount Tire guy they're unfortunately no longer in production, but you can find takeoffs sometimes.
    20" Toyota Tundra T Force Black / Machined OEM 2020 2021 (texastrucktire.com)

I love these wheels so much I married them, powder coated them, and will have them on my truck as soon as I get it levelled and my old tires wear out. Good choice, and good luck finding the rest of the set.

I should have asked if you were lifted. Surprised your rubbing after lifting it. How does it ride compared to factory or handle. So if I do the westcott lift and stay with my 285’s I will be fine. I plan on changing wheels down the road. Had 3 sets of SCS wheels. Waiting to see the F5’s. Had them on the 4runner Pro.

I love look of the Ray 10s, and I think the +25 is the perfect amount of offset.

    Nothing.... yet.
    Finally got tires installed today.

    18x9 +20 offset.

There was slight rub, and I mean SLIGHT on full lock. I showed the removed dams and flaps from the front to show. Also showed stock vs new for comparison regarding poke.

So, I'll start off by saying that no, I have not read every reply on this thread, I mean, 87 pages, don't have time for that. What I have read, though, doesn't seem to mention Tundras with a 6" lift and what people are running as far as wheels and tires are concerned. I have a 2014 SR5 TSS package. I have the TSS rims which have a +50mm offset tires are 285/60/20. I'm putting on a rough country 6" lift kit and want to go bigger to 35/12.5/20 or 35/12.5/18. That being said, I want to have less offset, to give the truck a more aggressive stance. Any suggestions on what offset I should be looking for? What wheel width? I don't mind doing some minor plastic trimming or taking off the flaps and fog light covers. I've looked at several websites and compared notes, but I dunno, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
