    2019 Tundra Limited Crew Max
I'm Marty from Texas, along the gulf coast near Houston. July 5 I decided to trade in a 2017 Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins turbo diesel for my new to me 2019 Tundra Limited 4x4. We were driving home from visiting family in Conroe, and decided to stop in at Keating Toyota. I had called them as we drove down, talked to a sales guy and told him we wanted to see some Tundra's. We get there go in, talk to the same sales guy. He disappears. 30 minutes later we're still waiting. Meanwhile we spied a nice 2019 Tundra parked right behind where we parked our truck. We looked it up online and saw the price. We liked it. It was unlocked so we check it out. We liked it.

Finally, the sales guy walks up to us with a couple of papers in his hand. He says, Sir, we can get these two 2021's in the next couple of weeks if you're interested. I asked if they had any Tundra's on the lot. He said, no sir. I said, what about that 2019 sitting behind my truck. He said, well, I thought you wanted a new truck. I laughed. So, this is what's been taking so long? Yup, He thought we wanted nothing but new. Well, I hardly ever buy new. Like only twice in my entire life of 57yrs have I ever bought new. So, we test drove the 2019. I immediatley loved the truck. So did my wife. So, we got them to give us an offer on the trade value of my 2017 Ram. Their trade offer was several thousand dollars more than I paid for the truck. It was a no brainer. We bought the Tundra.

It had a touch over 27,000 miles on it. So, I was happy. Average mileage. What really drew me to the truck was the fact that it was owned by one of the Keating Toyota employee's, and had been serviced there religiously. That was a huge plus to me. When I hit 31000 miles I took it in for the 30000 mile service. The service advisor immediately recognized the truck, and said hey this was my best friends truck. I was very happy with their service, and how I was treated. While I waited, a sales guy hit me up about trading it in. LOL, NOPE! I just bought it from them! My sales guy came out as he saw I was talking to another guy. He asked how I was liking the truck. I love the truck! We talked about the reduction in production. He told they are literally starving for vehicles, any vehicle to trade or sell. He said the values are skyrocketing. And, he said he'd give me a great deal if I'd trade it in. No thanks!

Well, I've got a touch over 32000 miles on her now, and really love the truck. I've made a few small changes to suit my tastes. Nothing major. Some led interior and exterior lights. Some chrome Tundra letters for the tailgate impressions. And, I keep a tool box in the back with tools. That's it. I daily drive it, and love every minute in the truck. It's a much nicer driving truck than any other I've had. I pull a 19ft boat and a small camper with it. Works great.

I think I may be a Toyota fan for life. I have problems out of every single other truck I've owned save one, a 1997 Dodge 1 ton dually with their 12 valve Cummins. That truck was bullet proof, until my wife totalled it. The Ram I traded in was having trouble with some stuff. It was nothing major, just agravating stuff. Hopefully, I'll have a lot of trouble free miles with my Tundra.

Welcome from NJ. No matter what you paid for the truck, it is now definitely worth more. The values skyrocketed. So congrats to you.
