New to site. Have a 2011 Toyota Tundra. Twice, while driving, truck has shut down. Once on a on ramp and second while turning around. First time power returned after 30 minutes. Had it towed and nothing was found wrong. New battery placed just for safety. Happened again but being towed and not starting. Any suggestions as to the problem?

Tow truck arrived 2 hours later. As he was loading it the emergency lights came on and it started again. Definitely an electrical issue. Just don’t know where

Throw up a post in new member section, with some pics. Like they said above, check your grounds. Wiggle test the posts, fuse/relay boxes etc...

Sounds like a bad ground. My brand new GMC used to do this on the regular and it turned out that the negative battery cable was rotting from the inside out.

Battery terminal is probably loose..... a dying battery and a loose terminal would have my truck dying anywhere and everywhere...

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! That's a tough one. Bad grounds can be just about anywhere.

They sure can but a complete loss of power to everything is going to be more specific.

True enough. I was catching up with the site after a couple of days and responded quickly, but you're right about that.
