Hello. New to forum and new to Tundra trucks. Last 2 vehicles were RAM... need I continue. Love my new Tundra so much we decided to get (the wife) a new Tacoma!
I am the proud owner of a 21 Tundra TRD Sport and the wife owns a 21 Tacoma TRD Sport. Haven't done much other than a few small bolt on accessories... don't want to jeopardize any warranties. Look forward to seeing what everyone else has done!

I am in search of some matte black TSS rims (new or like new) if anyone is looking to sell. I plan to wrap them in BFG's but if someone has takeoffs with GY's for a great price I'd consider. I'll pay shipping if price is reasonable and/or not close enough to meet (located in MI). Thanks.20210702_130518.jpg
Reason: The dealership told me they had the offroad rims pro painted, first car wash the paint started peeling . They've agreed to make "repairs" unfortunately they are 3hrs away and need the truck for a couple of days. So I've decided to simply purchase a new set, take originals in for repair and cut my losses. I am a contractor so do need some tires with some grab, OEM Dunlops are not going to cut it during MI winters.

Thanks! I've never owned a white truck and wasn't sure I'd like it but it's growing on me. I think once I get some meatier tires on it'll make a big difference. These little sport tires are killing me but want to wait until finding wheels to replace....
anyone have a good lead or know someone with some new/like new TSS wheels for sale? Dealership said they can get me Pro's for $$$$$ but couldn't even give me an ETA. I also think I'd like the wider stance of the TSS, my understanding they're 20×9 as opposed to 18×8. Thanks again guys happy to be a part of the forum can't stop perusing!

For 3 years I just maxed it out and put on some BFG KO2 33” made it look better till I was able to do everything I wanted (3 years later). It’s like a bad addiction… once you start mod’ing it never ends lol

I did look at the SCS wheels as well as a couple others. I want to keep the stock look as much as possible with subtle mods. I did a lot to my old Ram (couple trucks ago) but think I want to keep this one "closer" to stock... time will tell though. Thanks, they are on the radar as an option if I can't find stock (I know the TSS aren't technically stock).

Welcome from East Texas. You sound a little bit like my wife and me. She bought a ‘21 Camry XSE V6 and 2 days later I had to get my ‘21 Tundra.

We purchased about 3 weeks apart. She is still getting used to the smaller truck but I think its growing on her. She definitely doesn't complain when squeezing into a tight parking spot, turn radius on that Tacoma is great!

    Welcome from Central Michigan!

A new Tundra and Tacoma to upgrade is going to be fun…and expensive!

Another central Michigander, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a cement TRD! Yeah, the wife has gone overboard with accessories. I get home from work every evening to find a pile of packages containing taco and baby Yoda trinkets. She's having fun with the small stuff so I guess it could be worse. I'm hunting new wheels/tires and stopped by the Katzkin shop in Saginaw this weekend.... stupid idea! Nobody told me that when you purchase a new Toyota you should always double the expense for accessories. :frusty:

Yes the small upgrades are just fine haha! The positive thing is that both of you have color matching bumpers, grill surrounds, etc. You’ll find that not having to color match will save you a bundle.

Did you order the Katskins already? I’ve been considering getting some myself and it would be from the Saginaw dealer. Maybe they would cut us a deal for two?

I haven't ordered them yet, I played around with some color options at home (for about an hour!). I did get a quote of $2k OTD installed for the standard options and heated seats. Seemed a bit high to me from others I've seen but don't know that its way out of line??? I'd go in and see if he'd do a package price! Let me know, I'd meet up there to try and work a deal. I'm ready to go if he gives us a deal I was just procrastinating until after salmon season. Lol. I'm right down the road so could meet any time, keep me posted

I’m not positive on pricing. I think install is around $800, so if you chose two tone or other upgrade options I’m sure the crafting and material price could easily reach $1,200.

I’m not in a hurry, interior is last on my list. My back seats are sitting on the garage floor, so I have no problems waiting until I’m done monkeying around in there. I’ll take a look at prices and get in touch before I do anything.

Sounds good! He said he applied a $150 discount on the heated seats since he was slow atm... may have simply been a sales pitch who knows. I considered ordering them from the guy on here in Tucson and installing myself but can see that turning into a nightmare.

I’ll see what kind of quote I get and we can compare pricing. I’m not going to attempt the install. I want it done right and I don’t know how to do it at all, let alone right. I can already see the hours ticking by as I get more and more frustrated, culminating in a jacked up install and me saying “I should’ve just paid…”
