    Hello all, I’m alex. I just bought a black 2003 Toyota Tundra AC TRD from the original owner tonight. It’s crazy he bought it for $31,550 with only 65 miles on it 17 years ago, and I got it from him for $1,000 with 568k :) it was very well maintained from looking up the history on “myToyota” Also new frame in 2014. I’m very excited to use this truck for kayak fishing and other adventures. I plan on changing out the head gasket, timing belt & water pump before I actually whip it around town. Looks like I’ll be on the forums looking for inspiration, thanks all for stopping by.

    Welcome. Sweet find. We've only had a few people report over 500K on a first gen. Unless there is something wrong with the head gasket I probably wouldn't open up the engine but that's just me.

    Yes, so happy the gram was replaced a couple years ago.

    The owner stated low compression so I’ll have to open it up for sure. And mind as well do the water pump and timing.
