Has anyone painted their engine cover??? Let's see em! Thinking of doing the Punisher Skull gray color or red or silver like it was sprayed over

Has anyone painted theirs? My paint shop said they wouldn't recommend it. But I'm sure if it was prepped right and using paint that would be ok in the heat.

Any issues with bubbles forming, paint flaking, or cracking? Did you just plastidip or prime it first?

Too much time on my hands right now, so what to do....
    erm....Paint the engine cover?
Rubbing alcohol to clean, VHT HT Ceramic Red rattle can (heat gun to cure), then 3 coats of HT clear. Looks orange when fitted but it's red!!.....direct sunlight and messed up iPhone exposure (HDR).
Masking tape, a fine single edge razor blade and lots of patience. Masking up took longer than the coating.....
    Fuse box cover next?

Actually it was not so hard, some high quality tape, pressed it in hard (thanks heat gun) and a very sharp blade ( no shaky hands, as no beer last night, bahhahahaha)..not a 5 minute job, but what is these days?

I may have to go back to this wee project, maybe black out the 'vertical' alternate valley lines (in the V)?

My cover gets too dirty all time to bother even thinking about painting it, although I do use ArmorAll wipes to sort of keep it clean.

Yip, 4 pins but be careful, I heated mine first, then used a flat blade driver...I still broke one of the pins but gorilla glue saved the day
