    Welcome friends!

The time is upon us.... 2019 Secret Santa is here!

    HOW TO SIGN UP:

You will sign up by filling out a google form in its entirety. If you do not fill it out as required, you will make my life harder, and you don’t want to do that.

    :santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa:

    SIGNUPS HAVE ENDED.

    :santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa:

    Rules for participating:

    • Must have joined tundras.com prior to September 1st, 2019.
    • Post count must be at 50, no fluffing of posts. Santa has discretion to disqualify you from participating in the 2019 gifting season.

    Some more rules:

    • Keep gifts PG-13 unless you know the recipient personally.
    • Absolutely NO WHINING!!!
    • YOU must do the legwork once pm’d. DO NOT ASK ME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU SHOULD GET FOR YOUR GIFTEE. Ask a friend or another participant to anonymously reach out to your person if you’re coming up with no ideas. However, you should fill out the wishlist thread with some solid info.
    • You must send a gift to the name you get, no exceptions. Example: dont see eye to eye, they like the wrong football team, etc. ;)
    • You may be sending a gift out of the country… Keep the shipping costs in mind.
    • There is no cap, you can be as generous as you wish but there is a $20 minimum for gifts including shipping. If you decide to go nuts and spend a ton of money, don't expect the same from your secret santa.
    • Myself and or the mods here on Tundras take no responsibility if someone flakes and does not send a gift. We will do our best to fix it, since we will have their names/addresses.
    • As long as you're on the commit list with full name AND handle, you will send AND recieve a gift.
    • It would be nice once Christmas comes around, to see what everyone got… Please don't post names or handles of who sent you what unless they specifically let you know that you can call them out.
    • If possible, keep proof of item being sent in case its lost/stolen in the mail. At the very least, we can prove that it was sent out.
    • Once November 1st, 3pm noon EST is here, you can not back out of your commitment, to be fair.
    • If you choose to send your gift in a box, it's your choice to wrap it or not. Recommendation is to not send it in the box it came in, as to ruin the surprise.

Again, heres a TLDR of the timeline:

    • October 1st-ish, registration begins.
    • October 21st, 1159PM AZ time: registration closes.
    • October 24th or sooner, names will be distributed and no backing out.
    • December 25th, packages should arrive by this date.

FYI, I am Santa. I organize and plan for TacomaWorld's Secret Santa, last year we had over 230 participants, I expect more this year! I will use the @Secret Santa to keep things separate and organized. Hoping to run a successful Secret Santa here on Tundras!

We did it last year and overall it was a success, I am not sure how many participants we had but I would guess 30 or 40. There were a bunch of really great gifts, a few disappointing participants, and one gift that nearly caused a divorce lol. Overall it was really fun, the part that disappointed me the most was when a member would put in thought and effort into a gift and the recipients didn't post about it or show any enthusiasm. I hope this year we have 100% enthusiastic participants, after all its freaking Christmas people.

Thank you young lady for doing this on Tundras. The success on TacomaWorld says it all about how you run the SS.

Nonsense: noun, referring to all of the above. Namely “being concerned with decorum... or excess of prevailing standards”.

Hence a very good sense of humor. Welcome back by the way since I neglected to say so earlier.

Also, I wasn’t referring to that kind of PG13. I was referring to anything this site might consider to be off limits.

Read the next few lines in a slow deep tone in your head, Like something from a Halloween movie.

He sees you when you’re sleeping.
    He knows when your’re awake.
He knows if you have been bad or good..
So be good for goodness sake.

Then he sneaks into your house while you’re asleep and judges you accordingly.

Dude’s totally real. Sleep tight kids!
