Dirty deeds exhaust tip is probably different than Toyota stock exhaust. I have a black tip I put over my single exhaust with no problem I then went to the TRD Duals. Your tip is not stock Toyota

If it won’t go on until it hits that’s little nub inside the black tip it is not going to work. You push the black tip on until it hits the nub and then in the back you put the shims underneath the end of the black tip then tighten clamp down. You might have to spread the flanges open to get the spacer pieces (2) in there but if you can not slip the tip over till it get to the skinny part of the exhaust it no worky??!! That’s my opinion without being there looking at it

That is what I’m talking about you don’t have stock Toyota Exhaust if you want make sur it will go over the skinny part the get a saws-all cut off the big part and you will be good to go,, but I don’t know where your exhaust will be coming out if you do that

This is most definitely stock. I bought the dirty deeds system, but the tail pipe section is stock. I bought the truck brand new with 12 miles on it.

Do not know how that can be, so you used the original tail pipe and put it on a different exhaust!??

Correct. That's how the standard systems from dirty deeds work. You reuse the stock tail pipe section.

See, this is weird. Looks like you have a '19 as well. Mine came with this flared end on the exhaust.

Yours is off road, mine is a Sport and above SR5, I suppose that’s the difference.

All the tail pipes are the same. I just took a brand new exhaust tip out of the box and went to put it on a Tundra we have sitting on the lot.

That must be the case. The correct part number is on the packaging and everything. But obviously, there's no way it would fit. I'll do a return I guess. Thanks for checking Roman. If you carry the part, I'll buy it off of you.

The TRD is on the TRD Dual Cat Back Exhaust. The tips are welded on in the Black chrome or the Bright/or polished Chrome and the tips are oblong more than circular.

Black chrome with the trd on top.

They look good but I kind of like the regular chrome better

@Roman or @Reveler00 or anyone have a pic of the black OEM on a silver Tundra maybe zoomed out a little? Probably going to buy this one, just wanted to make a final decision on black or chrome.

@Roman No worries. Thanks for checking. I've heard conflicting reviews on whether or not these alter the sound. Is there any difference at all? I just have the OEM exhaust. Thanks.

I live about an hour away from Franklin, may come pick one up this weekend.

I have not heard any difference in the sound when just adding a tip to the exhaust.

Sounds good. Make sure to place your order ahead of time through the online store, so we can hold one aside for you.

@Roman I have a 2016 TRD Pro w/ the chrome exhaust tips, am I able to get the black "TRD" tips or would it have to be the black logo tips? Thanks!

With the TRD exhaust, Toyota does not sell the tips separately. They only come with the tailpipe section of the TRD exhaust system.
