Any ideas?

Took my girl out last night to a few places and this morning I notice this:





WTF?

Black paint. What should I use to try and get it off? Claybar? Magic Eraser?

 

I've always had luck removing some minor scuffs with a finishing or polishing compound. It is much finer and less abrasive than rubbing compound.

 

I hate how people don't care about other people's cars!!

I'd try a clay bar, that's worked with dang near everything for me

 

Doesn't look like it broke the paint, hopefully it rubs off.

 

Thanks Ron I'll give that a shot if the claybar doesnt take care of it. Waiting on a few more cleaning products to come in so I'll probably just hold off until next weekend when I have time to give it a full bath / claybar / paint sealant.

Do you just put that stuff on a microfiber towel and start buffing?

 

Nope it looks like just a surface mark from what I can tell. Don't think it made a dent. May even try hitting it with some rubbing alcohol and a microfiber rag whenever I get the truck back from round 2 at bestbuy this afternoon.
