What are you guys going to protect your truck from A-holes, aside from parking far away form everyone else.
Got this at work, about the size of a dime, may as well be the size of Texas to me.

install some sliders. They will hit the sliders before hitting your side.

I was planning on the Magnum RT step.
    Should I go another direction?

I can't believe they even circled and put arrows around the ding with a sharpie ...

Nah man, I'm sorry about the ding! It must sting quite abit. I added my NFabs with the hopes that they'll help prevent something like this. I also park in the stalls on the sides, never between cars and if need be a 100 yards further away.

The height of that dng by the looks of it was from another high clearance vehicle. Sliders may not of helped. Even though they will help the majority. You got a rock it like this LOL IMG_2064.jpg

Damn rocks. I got on the freeway thr otter say and "wham!!" a rock nailed my windshield. Left a nice circle ring in it. I'm glad I pay $5/more of whatever it is for glass coverage. A factory replacement windshield is going to cost them probably around $700+

A rock nailed my wife's windshield on her Highlander and that left insurance with an $800 windshield replacement bill.

Glass coverage should have ZERO to do with premiums. You cannot control a rock on a highway. I've had chips and minor cracks repaired at least half a dozen times.

One of my friends beats a cars drivers side mirror off with his foot after they parked to close to him and dinged him. I think they got the message.

That sux! I walk a long way in parking lots. My 2010 Raptor only has one ding in it and I was not driving it that day. Guess who was?

I know in SC, repair/replace of the windshield is free through your insurance up to 2 times per year. I've had to use it a few times.

My windshield is being replaced today. They will not replace it with OEM as it's two years old. However, same warranty applies.
