I've had this for 2 years, and it still won't give up. The magnet is still as strong as on day one, and the mount continues to adjust perfectly. I will let you know now that you're going to fight to get this off your case, but when you finally do, no damage! But it's not going to stick the same if you try to use that same one, so definitely keep the extra on hand. Amazing quality. Thank you!

This attaches with a peel off sticker. It adheres well to the dash of my car. I live in the AZ Desert and I don't want a phone blocking my A/C vents. This fits the bill.

It is smaller than the plastic type mounts i have tried. The pivot is firm with the full metal contstuction (ball and socket). It stays put when you adjust it. The magnets are powerful as indicated in the listing.

I have a hard plastic case on my phone. I needed to use the thin self adhesive metal plate and put it on the back of my case. It is very thin. They gave me several of these (at least 4). I did a slight trim job with some tin snips to make it fit my case (issue with built in case stand). It works perfectly. Solid magnetic connection.

I am most pleased with the all steel construction. No Plastic. This is the best dash mount I have bought. If I have a problem with the adhesive giving way over time, I would just drill a couple of small holes in the metal base of the stand and screw it to the dash. I don't expect that to happen.

This is a GREAT mount.

I love these car mounts for my iPhone 14; they cradle it perfectly, providing secure support. Initially, the adhesion held up well for about a week, but unfortunately, it eventually detached. However, I managed to solve this issue by applying Krazy Glue to ensure it stayed firmly on my dashboard. Despite this minor setback, overall, it's been an excellent purchase, and I highly recommend it.

I picked up two sets and added them to all of my cars. they work great and hold my phone very well. I recommend this product and would buy again. I did have a problem with it adhering to one dash because it had a curve to it. so I reinstalled it with some industrial 3M double sided tape and that did the trick.

I like these phone holders. The magnet is strong enough to hold my Samsung Android smartphone in an Otter case on the front panel next to the radio. I've tried mounts that sit on top of the dashboard or use a suction cup to stick to the windshield but the phone gets too hot on sunny days. I know someone that drove cross country with a windshield mount last summer and the heat from the sun killed their phone.

The problem with this mount is that the adhesive that sticks it to the dash does not hold up, especially in the summer. I live in North Texas and 100º days are not uncommon from June through August. No matter what kind of adhesive I use, when it starts getting hot the mount falls off the dash. Usually at the most inconvenient time. After the double sided tape that came with the mount failed I tried various types of 3M and Gorilla double sided tape. Same problem with each: after a few weeks the adhesive deteriorates and the mount falls off the dash. If you live in a temperate climate (for example, Minot ND) which is more often cooler than hot this might work for you. But if you live in a warmer place and have anything other than a very small and light phone you might as well order a couple of rolls of heavy duty double sided tape along with this mount because you will be replacing it several times over the summer. I'll keep experimenting (unless I find a better mount) but there doesn't seem to be a type of tape that lasts more than two or three weeks when the Summer weather gets hot.

The key to installing these is too find a slick spot on the dash to mount the base. My experience has been that cleaning a vinyl dash that is porous or rough; does not adhere to the surface well. I tried a couple time, and changed the pads, but no success. I found a slick surface, and it stuck first time; and so far, has not released. I have tried a multitude of other bracket type holders, and have found them too intrusive or ugly. These are the best style to use, in my humble opinion.

I like these because I have a Corolla and I don't have a lot of real estate on my dash. These are small and durable. I have purchased these several times. I have one in my shower (don't judge) two on my dash and my husband has one on his dash. The only reason I've had to replace one was because the ball inside got super loose and my phone wouldn't stand upright anymore, that was after about a year and a half. I've been using these for around 3 years. I have only had to replace the round adhesive that attached to my dash one time, due to the heat vent being so close, i believe. Overall, these are a great value and come with extra magnets that are VERY strong, for your devices and extra adhesive strips for both the dash and the magnet that attaches to the device. I always use a case on my phone so I don't have to worry about attaching it to my actual phone, but the set comes with adhesive strips to apply to your phone, between the phone and the magnet to remove the magnet without leaving any residue, if you choose to. The adhesives really are strong and they work well. It comes with extra adhesive strips, if you ever need them. When I say adhesive, I mean the little strips they send that you easily apply. I'm highly satisfied with this product and would/will purchase in the future, when there is a need.

 This ‘holder’ did nothing of the kind. To make it work I south’s have had to stick a huge horrid magnet on the back of my phone permanently. Not a good look and would interfere with charging.
