My first complaint with this boot was that it has a strong chemical smell out of the package, I left it outside for a hour or two before I actually put it in my car so the smell went away, luckily i don't smell it at all anymore.
It has a nice feel to it and seems pretty durable for only $5. Not extremely a fan of the chrome piece at the top, but you can hardly even see it with the shift knob being kind large on my Escort. The stitching on it looks nice as well.
The thing that did kind of bug me is that on one of the ends the stitching was kind of falling apart, luckily this was hidden away when I installed it so you can't see it at all.
It took a little bit of customizing to be able to get it in my particular car right but I was eventually able to get it on and it looks like professional. I won't hold a grudge against it for this considering it's not marketing directly for my make and model, so that's understandable.
All in all this is a very nice and professional looking boot for an amazing price as well, if you're looking for something nicer than your OEM boot this may be the option for you.

Here's what you do
1:Remove your OEM Shift boot.
2:Turn it inside out & do the same to your new JDM suede shift boot.
3:With a blade or scissors cut the Zip Tie that is holding your OEM black piece & cut the 1 holding the Chrome 1.
4:Swapped the Black OEM piece for the chrome 1 & put another Zip Tie on it to hold it in place just like it originally was.
5:Flip it back into it's original state & BAM there you have it.(only cutting on this end is on the Zip Tie's - DO NOT CUT YOUR NEW SHIFT BOOT THERE)
For installing the actual Shift Boot all you will need is a Torx tool (I think T20) & thats it no special tools, paper clips, or stapler.
(I DIDN'T DO NO CUTTING TILL I WAS READY TO ASSEMBLE EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER)
1:After removing my OEM shift boot I inserted the new shift boot through the outer plastic (the 1 that you see when it's all put together)
2:Then I inserted the inner black plastic inside the shift boot in till it held in place with the outer plastic.
3:Now I lined up the red lines to where I wanted them & chose the right height to match the OEM height.
4:Once that was done I made 4 tiny holes right where the 4 screws would go (through the inner plastic into the outer with shift boot still in between)
5:Then I screwed in the 4 screws nice and tight so that the boot can never move.
NOW YOU CAN CUT
6:Now that everything is on you can trim the shift boot as close to the inner plastic as possible.
Once done trimming you can assemble everything back together & enjoy your shift boot.
I can E-Mail pics if needed
